Teddy Bears Picnic

Every child loves those special moments when they can share precious time with a parent or grandparent. And what a better time than having an enjoyable teddy bears picnic. Children love the responsibility of getting together all the props that they'll need just like mummy or daddy does when they arrange a tea party or picnic.

The blanket laid out on the floor, the cups and saucers, the teapot with milk jug and sugar bowl. Often the pretend drinking is not quite enough and they may ask for water or juice and a few biscuits or cake. Any thing to make it that more real. And don't forget the the invitations. One for each adult, one for each brother or sister and not least the bears themselves. Bears that can sit are always preferable. But then, who's to tell the host who to invite!

There are always different variety's of children's play tea sets. There are the plastic ones, the spotty ones or the lovely delicate china variety that look like they make break easily in the hands of a little one but are so beautiful. They sometimes are packed in a lovely wicker basket to add more authenticity to the event.

The wonders of a tea party. It may only last a few minutes but the look of contentment and pleasure on a child's face is priceless. Pleased that they have arranged such a wonderful time!
