Halloween Teddy Bears
What will you be doing this halloween? For many of us it's a time of dressing up in our most spookiest costumes, finding the scariest of masks and going through our kitchen cupboard to find the biggest bowl to hold our haul of sweets, gum and maybe a few friendly fruits.
It's a time of year when the nights are drawing in early and the cold air is now upon us. Generally our children are happy to venture out into the streets to knock on a few friendly doors, most of whom display some sort of lantern or other halloween ornament to show they are waiting for a knock on their door.
Maybe this year you could turn your hand at making an exciting new costume for your favourite teddy bear. Of course as always there are build-a-bear shops that supply their own ready made outfits but wouldn't it be a lovely gift to your teddy this year if you were to sew together your own special costume. The ideas are endless with the obvious witch or warlock, or maybe a pumpkin or skeleton.
Maybe you or a relative can turn your hand to knitting or crochet. Sometimes we have an old pair of trousers in the bottom of the wardrobe that are now only good enough for recycling and turning into a new outfit for your special teddy bear.
If this is not for you or you just don't have the time this halloween but would like to treat yourself or someone else to a seasonal teddy bear there are many on sale. TY possibly have the largest selection of halloween bears. Me to You have a great halloween figurine. And Bearigton Bears have a wide selection of pumpkin inspired bears and also a lovely fury black cat basket, a great accompaniment to that wonderful costume.

Teddy Bears And Flowers
Sending teddy bears and flowers is a wonderful way to show someone you care. Teddy bears are a brilliant comforter and a lovely reminder that someone is thinking of you. Only too often we find ourselves living miles from our loved ones or friends and what could be better than a surprise gift of a teddy bear and flowers.
They can be bought and delivered personally or ordered on line or by telephone and delivered to that someone special who you haven't seen in a while. When you are feeling that it's about time to show someone you care or maybe it's someone's birthday or they are in need of comfort because you know they're feeling blue, what better way to give some cheer than to have a special delivery from a teddy bears and flowers lover like yourself is wonderful.
And even if you're not a fan of these endearing gifts, remember that the person you care about probably does.

Christmas Teddy Bears
Christmas teddy bears are in our shops now. Yes, Christmas shopping has begun already and some of us will have been putting away the odd present during the year too! Once again new shops are springing up just for your Christmas décor. But what I love the most is the large array of new teddy bears that will be on sale as a special Christmas gift. From Tatty Teddys which are priced cheap enough for anyone to buy to the more expensive Steiff Bears which we would all love to own at least one. The teddy bear craze has once again begun.
People have been buying teddy bears as gifts for Christmas for over a century. We all love the cute and cuddly bears sometimes as a reminiscence of our childhood and others as a romantic gesture for our loved ones.

Big Teddy Bears
Teddy bears come in all sizes. They range from very small teddy bears to very big teddy bears. The worlds largest teddy bear, Evan, holds the new world record reaching a staggering 61 feet tall. The largest stitched teddy bear measures an amazing 55ft 4in in length. This bear was exibited in Kansas, USA.
Some other interesting record breakers for teddy bears are the longest soft toy/human chain. This included 2,623 people, each holding a soft toy and was held in South Africa. The largest collection of Winnie the Pooh Bear and Friends is held by Deb Hoffmann from the USA. Her collection contains 4,405 different items. The most expensive teddy bear was sold at auction on 14 October 2000 at Christie's, Monaco.
It's a Guinness World Italian Record.

Get Well Teddy Bears
Cheer someone up with a get well teddy bear. Bears come in many sizes and can be accompanied by one of many various cards that are on sale. The decorative gift bags are numerous and can often be matched up with the bear itself. There are many products on the market now to choose from when looking for get well teddy bears. As large companies like Forever Friends and Me to You have matching gift paper and bags. These and many other bears can be bought with appropriate phrases such as "get well" and "thinking of you". Whether the recipient is at home, in hospital or at work it is more than appreciated when you realise someone is thinking of you.
Another well known bear that comes to mind when we think of being poorly is Pudsey Bear. He is the mascot for Children In Need and widely recognised with his yellow body and spotty eye patch. A wonderful bear that comes to mind when we are in need of some comfort when we are feeling a bit low.
